Boston University, USA is offering the Presidential Scholarship to incoming first-year students pursuing a Bachelors Degree at the university. The scholarship is targeted to academically exceptional students who demonstrate excellence beyond the classroom. It is an annual scholarship offered through the board admission at the university.

Boston University (BU) is a private research university in Boston, Massachusetts. BU was founded in 1839 by a group of Boston Methodists with its original campus in Newbury, Vermont, before being chartered in Boston in 1869. BU is a member of the Boston Consortium for Higher Education and the Association of American Universities. Boston University’s highly ranked graduate schools include the School of Law, School of Management, School of Medicine, College of Engineering and School of Education. The university is one of the top universities in Boston, United States. It is currently ranked #108 in QS World University Rankings 2025.

Benefit of the Scholarship

The value of the scholarship is $25,000. This covers the student’s tuition fee and is renewable for up to four years of undergraduate study at the university.

Eligibility

  • Applicant must be an international student – either non-US citizens or non-US Permanent Resident Green Card Holders.
  • Must possess a good academic record.
  • Applicant must demonstrate leadership ability.
  • Apply for admission to one of the available undergraduate programmes at Boston University

Application Procedure

No additional essays or application forms are required. Students who wish to be considered for the Presidential Scholarship should submit their application and supporting credentials by deadline.
