The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) is offering LSE Master’s Scholarship Awards (LMAs) to taught Masters students. The scholarship award is aimed toward assisting students who have indicated on their financial support application that they wish to be considered for other scholarships (by providing further information in the personal statement of the LSE Graduate Financial Support Application).

The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) is a research university in London, England, and a member institution of the University of London. The school is organized into 25 academic departments and institutes which conduct teaching and research across a range of pure and applied social sciences. It offers over 40  undergraduate programmes and over 140 taught and research postgraduate programmes.  LSE’s academic portfolio holds a wide range of social science disciplines, from accounting to law, management to social policy.

The award worth a sum range from £5,000 to a full award.

Eligibility Criteria

To be considered for this scholarship:

Applicant must be holding an offer for a taught Masters programme at London School of Economics and Political Science.

Must be from low and middle income countries. Preference is given to those from low and middle income countries, particularly if loans are not available or if those countries are under-represented in other award schemes administered by the School.

Application Procedure

The application are to be done online via the institute’s website. Applicants are required to submit their application for the course as well as for graduate financial support, and receive an offer of a place.
