The Australian National University (ANU) offers the Sir Geoffrey Yeend Honours Scholarships to academically bright international students. The major aim of the scholarships is to recruit high performing students into the Colleges’ Honours Programmes.
Sir Geoffrey Yeend Honours Scholarships was established in 1996 in memory of the aforementioned name, who was the former Chancellor of ANU and Secretary Prime Minister and Cabinet.
Level /Fields of Study: Undergraduate and Postgraduate degree programme in Arts and Social Sciences and Asia Pacific Studies.
Number of Scholarships: Three (3)

The scholarship is valued at $5000 for 1 year of full-time study.
The scholarships is available each year to a prospective or current ANU student who:
- is a domestic or international student
- is enrolled in, or receives an offer of admission to, an Honours program offered by the ANU College of Arts and Social Science or the ANU College of Asia and the Pacific
- has not previously held this award
How To Apply
There is no separate application for this scholarship. All students interested in this scholarship are to apply for an admission for either bachelor or postgraduate degree studies – Master or PhD. Any student applying for admission into the university is automatically considered for this scholarships.
